QUANTUM TechX provides accelerated pathways for Australian SMEs, corporate project teams and late-stage startups into cross-sector opportunities in the critical technology roadmaps of the international space sector.
The space industry is a significant market and there is rising momentum for the potential of cross-sector pollination of innovation. QUANTUM TechX bridges these pathways for companies currently delivering transferable technology solutions to the Mining, Energy, Agriculture or Defence sectors.
The TechX integrated capability development program accelerates skills and produces scalable
multi-sector companies. Working with the QUANTUM Technology Exchange partnering companies, teams are mentored by sector specialists, technology leaders corporate innovators. The output is investment-ready, high-growth companies fast tracked with entrepreneurial education, new networks, capital raising and cross-sector product adoption opportunities.
TechX includes the Innovation Breakfast Series of events designed to engage across multiple sectors to facilitate knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration.
Quantum TechX launches in October 2019. This is followed by a series of executive leadership breakfast events that raise sector interaction leading up to the intensive capability building program.
The accelerator component opens for applications in November 2019 and concludes in May 2020 with an innovation showcase event. Through corporate sponsorship the TechX program is provided free of charge to all participants. Entry is via a competitive application process with the cohort being selected by a panel of experts from each participating sector.

Through the program each company will be provided condensed capability building, tailored site visits and direct mentoring to build capability, capital and connections.
